We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team in Rosemont, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy in vendor and project-related transactions, and supporting compliance with company policies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization. Responsibilities: • Process and analyze financial data related to vendor and project transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records while maintaining proper documentation. • Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking. • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve variances. • Manage billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations in all accounting operations. • Generate financial reports and summaries to assist with audits and operational reviews. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation practices. • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial regulations. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • High attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks. • Experience with accounting software and tools. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. The hourly salary range for this position is $25.00 to $32.00. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
