Requires effective communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, scheduling software knowledge (training provided), QuickBooks (training provided), and preferably 1+ year office organization experience.
What you'll be doing: The construction industry, much like the rest of the world, has changed drastically in recent years. Organization and communication enable the efficient sharing of pertinent information and ensure a project, construction related or not, is carried out effectively. As an Estimating and Project Engineering Assistant, it will be your responsibility to assist the pre-construction teams in fielding new-customer phone calls, organizing the job board, compiling pricing requests, assisting in the running of jobs post-contract, responding to and organizing emails efficiently, and empowering inter-departmental communication. You will have daily communication with the Estimating and Project Management teams, Architects, suppliers, and general contractors in acquiring pricing and gathering information for current and future projects.
