The Private Client Senior Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and growing a specialized book of high-net-worth personal lines business, with a strong emphasis on yacht and marine risks. This role requires deep expertise in marine insurance, including Hull, Protection & Indemnity (P&I), and ancillary coverages, as well as a solid understanding of broader personal lines and commercial lines insurance products. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, guiding placement strategy, and supporting business development efforts. Experience in Commercial Lines is a plus, as it enhances the ability to serve clients with complex, blended personal and commercial exposures. Your Impact: Client Management, Client Advocacy & Issue Resolution, Marine & Yacht Expertise, Carrier & Wholesale Relationships and Corporate Citizenship Lead service and placement for a specialized book of high-net-worth clients, with a focus on yacht and marine exposures. Develop and execute renewal strategies, including market selection, coverage analysis, and claims reviews. Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with carriers, leveraging market relationships and RSC’s “Fewer & Stronger” initiative. Prepare executive summaries, proposals, and stewardship reports tailored to the unique needs of marine clients. Act as the escalation point for client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Serve as the subject matter expert for yacht and marine insurance, advising clients and internal teams on coverage options, risk mitigation, and claims handling. Review client contracts and marine-related documentation to ensure proper coverage alignment. Maintain documentation and compliance standards to mitigate E&O exposure. Successful Candidates Will Have: Minimum 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with a strong focus on marine risks, and demonstrated understanding of Commercial and Personal Lines Deep knowledge of yacht insurance, including Hull, P&I, crew coverage, and related marine lines. Proven ability to negotiate with carriers and manage complex placements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities. Holds active P&C Insurance license(s) as required. Pay Range: $84,500 - $115,000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
