About the role We are seeking a Sr. Decision System Developer to join our Decision Systems team. In this role, you will focus on the design, development, and optimization of decision workflows and case management capabilities within our enterprise risk and operations ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in building and maintaining workflow automation systems that empower teams in fraud, credit, and compliance to manage exception processing and manual reviews. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust solutions that integrate real-time decisioning logic with case management features and APIs. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain decision system workflows and case management interfaces to support fraud detection, operational reviews, and compliance processes. Design and optimize automated routing, resolution paths, status tracking, and escalation logic. Build integrations between decision systems and case handling platforms using RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture. Configure case queues, dashboards, and user roles for transparency, workload balancing, and SLA adherence. Support the rollout of new features and workflow enhancements with appropriate testing and documentation. Collaborate with business, analytics, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes. Participate in sprint planning, technical design reviews, and Agile ceremonies to ensure efficient delivery. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise 5+ years in application development, preferably with experience in workflow or decisioning platforms Hands-on experience with: Frontend technologies: JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS Backend development: Python, Java, or C# Database systems: SQL Server, PostgreSQL APIs and system integration: REST/JSON Experience configuring or developing within enterprise workflow/case management tools (e.g., GDS Link Case Center, ServiceNow, Appian, Pega) Knowledge of credit, fraud, or loan servicing workflows is highly desirable Familiarity with Agile development practices, including sprint planning and ticket management in JIRA or Azure DevOps Location This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere that suits you best! While you’ll primarily work from home, you are always welcome to visit our office in Irving, TX, whenever you choose. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date, ensuring you remain part of our collaborative community. Compensation For this role our salary range is $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
