Job Highlights: Company: Centria Healthcare, a leading provider of autism services Position: Center-Based Behavior Technician, a rewarding role making a difference in the lives of children with autism Start Date: Immediate openings available, start your career journey today Location: Portland, OR, with opportunities for growth and development Compensation: Competitive salary range of $18 - $24 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience and certification level We are seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to join our team at Life Skills Autism Academy, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a Center-Based Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism develop critical skills and reach their full potential. Job Responsibilities: Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, as outlined in client individualized treatment plans Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior, ensuring accurate and timely documentation Assist with parent and caregiver training, providing support and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment, adhering to established safety protocols and procedures Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years Reliable transportation, with proof of driver's license and valid car insurance (if applicable) Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods Strong attention to detail, with ability to follow instructions and maintain emotional control in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of technology and digital applications What We Offer: Competitive salary range of $18 - $24 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience and certification level Opportunities for professional growth and development, with a comprehensive training program and ongoing support A dynamic and supportive work environment, with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children with autism How to Apply: If you are a motivated and compassionate individual, with a passion for working with children with autism, we encourage you to apply.
