1-2 years research experience, strong communication, ability to use web applications and office software, IRB experience and CIP certification preferred.
About the position Responsibilities • Coordinate the operation of the IRB program. • Assist researchers in the preparation of IRB applications. • Represent the IRB program to researchers, board members, and institutional administration. • Disseminate information about IRB processes and requirements. • Support the implementation of IRB programs. Requirements • 1 to 2 years of experience in a research environment required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to learn and use web-based applications for protocol submission and administration. • Moderate to excellent skills in bolthires Office or comparable software. Nice-to-haves • Previous IRB experience strongly preferred. • Active CIP certification or eligibility to sit for the CIP certification examination. • Knowledge of principles and practices of the IRB review process.
