This individual will be responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of customer satisfaction, maximizing our sales productivity, and assisting with the overall optimization of customer service. Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative provides support/service for all customers via phone, email, or fax. The job provides world class customer service in all interactions. The successful individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to perform accurate data entry. Essential Responsibilities: • Professionally respond to inbound calls from customers nationally • Accurately input information into various fields • Maintain CRM database with customer and prospect information • Maintain an order batch • Responsible for the life of an order that is assigned from processing to following up, if required • Follow up as necessary on orders to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner • Verify Items and customer’s information entered accurately • Follow up on pending payments and process payments Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility. Competencies: • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be multi-task oriented • Friendly, positive attitude, and eager to assist the customer regardless of the customer’s disposition • Work effectively under pressure • Attention to detail • Collaborative and team player attitude Requirements Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) preferred • Communication and Organizational skills (English/Spanish a plus) • 1 year of previous customer services/call center experience. • Customer service, email, and telephone etiquette are a must. • Must be computer literate with data entry skills. • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to navigate through multiple programs as well as reading and comprehending various customer care service tools. • Previous knowledge navigating Great Plains (GP) a plus Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
