Legacy Medical Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction on the fundamentals of nursing care, patient care techniques, and essential skills required for students to excel as CNAs. This position involves both classroom-based teaching and hands-on clinical instruction, emphasizing excellence in education and fostering a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Teach nursing principles, patient care techniques, and related topics in an engaging manner. • Guide students in clinical settings to practice and refine their skills. • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. • Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance. • Work with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching methods. • Stay updated on nursing practices and educational tools. • Act as a mentor and uphold professional and ethical standards. • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and deliver effective instruction in a classroom and clinical setting • Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and instructional resources to enhance learning outcomes • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population and respond to changing program requirements • Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical principles in teaching and nursing practice • Demonstrated capability to provide constructive feedback and assess student performance both in classroom and clinical environments • Previous experience as a CNA instructor or nurse educator is not required but preferred Apply Job!
