Job Summary: Reporting to the Budget and Operations Manager, he Education Administrative Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with licensure requirements and supporting the success of students in the Education program. This position directly contributes to the Jesuit mission of Regis University by promoting academic excellence, fostering student success, and supporting faculty in their efforts to educate future educators committed to service and social justice. Key responsibilities include facilitating all licensure-related processes, issuing verification forms for post-traditional students, and managing teacher licensure coding to meet state and federal reporting standards. In addition, the coordinator supports student retention by collaborating with faculty advisors and engaging directly with students. They assist faculty and program coordinators with course scheduling and provide support for affiliate faculty. The coordinator also ensures accurate program content on the Regis website and in the course catalog. This role supports the Division by facilitating connections with key campus departments, including ITS, the Registrar, Admissions, Physical Plant, and MarCom. They help the Division Chair manage the budget and collaborate with faculty to plan and coordinate Division events. Additional responsibilities include creating the Division newsletter and event flyers, as well as assisting the Dean’s Office with a variety of administrative tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented, student-focused individual with strong organizational and communication skills. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Student Support & Advising • Serve as primary student contact for support needs; resolve issues independently or refer appropriately • Ensure student completion of all CODE requirements; communicate with students to support retention and success • Troubleshoot issues with students in real time • Collaborate with faculty advisors to address student needs and advise students when necessary • Verify licensure for all students; issue Approved Verification Forms for post-traditional programs Licensure, Data, & Compliance • Track student progress and maintain licensure databases to ensure fulfillment of CODE requirements • Create, maintain, and update multiple databases to track student progress • Manage TL coding of students for state and federal reporting requirements • Collect, analyze, and report departmental data to Chair and leadership Alumni & Community Engagement • Compile and maintain information for over 700 alumni • Communicate with alumni and connect them to events and outreach opportunities Communications & Events • Coordinate Division of Education newsletter and maintain Regis website content • Plan and support events related to the Division of Education Administrative & Operational Support • Collaborate with Dean’s office to complete administrative tasks for the Division of Education and other departments • Provide budget management support to the Chair • Take on additional projects at the direction of the Operations Manager This role requires a significant on-campus presence. May be eligible for limited remote work following a successful six-month introductory period, based on the needs of the department.
