Regeneron is seeking a Director, Market Access Insights & Analytics - Oncology to join our team! In this role, a typical day might include: The Director, Market Access Insights & Analytics (I&A) will partner with Market Access and the Business Unit, by developing and communicating actionable insights derived from secondary data analytics that effectively shape market access, brand strategy and tactics across different customer segments. This includes developing and implementing the analytics plan, informing business decisions, and designing and implementing analytical solutions to support business opportunities. As part of the role, the Director, Market Access I&A will develop, build and socialize new analytics capabilities that provide actionable insights based on customer and market understanding. The Director, Market Access I&A will work with cross-functional business partners to support data-driven decision making, pull through key insights, and build business understanding. In addition to strong analytics skills, the Director, Market Access I&A should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated track record of effective business partnership, business impact and influence. This role is hands on and does not have any direct reports, but will manage contractors, consultants and vendors to complete projects. This role might be for you if you can/have: Lead & Develop Develop and implement market access analytics plans, and managing the budget Identify business needs and proposing potential market access analytics approaches for solutions. Using business understanding to translate unstructured, complex business problems into the appropriate data problem, models, and analytical solutions Support ongoing and planned contracting strategy analytics (E.g., analog assessment, deal/no deal, post deal analytics, patient flow analytics, simulations, analog analytics, etc.), while maximizing putt-through effectiveness Develop performance reporting strategy, augmenting and streamlining current reporting. Execute Conduct strategic analytics such as archetype (of national and regional payers accounts, IDNs/Community Oncology GPOs, 340B, etc.), payer pathway analytics, account segmentation and targeting, etc. Design and conduct patient affordability analytics, access and reimbursement (E.g., landscape and benchmarking, HUB analytics, co-pay analytics and patient out of pocket sensitivity and modeling, etc.) Diagnose performance and measure impact, based on an understanding of key strategic imperatives, business questions and definition of success Monitor provider account access and conducting payer plan and provider analytics Analyze GPO and account and payer level pull through analytics and opportunity analytics based on access Partnership and collaboration Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial partnership with stakeholders across Market Access Analytics, the CBU (Oncology) and CSI&A; strike a balance between project rigor, timelines and ability to influence decisions. Manage analytics suppliers and workbench to design, scope, execute and analyze data in the development of business implications Collaborate on specialty pharmacy analytics Inform data strategy and acquisition Comply with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements as it relates to data assets To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following: 12+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience (or 10+ years for MBA/MS), in roles of increasing accountability; prior experience with market-leading brands required and Oncology -specific experience is preferred Minimum BS/BA in STEM related field, e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Marketing Research, etc.; Advanced degree preferred. Experience working with Oncology datasets, including prescription, sales data and claims/patient level data sets inclusive of pharma data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, etc. Firm understanding of Market Access landscape, customers, and channels; being able to connect the relationships between them and the business U.S. Buy and Bill or Medical Benefit Market Access experience is required Technical proficiency and knowledge of U.S. drug reimbursement and access, i.e., coverage, coding and payment is required Knowledge of Oncology market access and expertise in Oncology datasets is preferred Experience working with market access datasets is required (e.g., FIA, LAAD, MMIT, etc. ) Experience working with prescription, sales data and claims/patient level data sets inclusive of pharma data sources is required (e.gl, IQVIA, Symphony, etc.) Experience coding in SQL, Python/PySpark, R and/or SAS (BASE, STAT, SQL, Macros) is required Experience in data visualization and reporting working with commercial business intelligence tools is required (e.g., PowerBI Tableau, QlikView, Oracle BI, Microstrategy, Cognos, Spotfire or similar tools) Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required Proficiency in manipulating and extracting insights from large longitudinal data sources, such as claims and other patient level datasets is required Expertise in managing and analyzing a range of large, secondary transactional databases is required Experience in data mining, descriptive analytics, application of statistical methods, analyses and modeling, predictive modeling, opportunity assessment/quantification and simulation is required Communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to succinctly and effectively present compelling reviews of analyses that integrate insights and business implications/actions to be considered Does this sound like you?
