Razor is seeking a Defect Manager to manage, reconcile, and streamline defect data across our NY based commercial healthcare provider's PayDoc Program environments. This 100% remote role is central to ensuring that defect tracking, ownership, and remediation remain accurate and consistent despite the varying processes across product, configuration, Source, and HRP defect pathways. The Defect Manager will serve as the connective tissue between teams, organizing and validating defect information, monitoring statuses, and ensuring that each defect follows the correct process depending on its origin and classification. This requires tight collaboration with our IT QA team, Client QA resources, business stakeholders, and system owners. Key Responsibilities Defect Intake & Reconciliation • Manage daily intake of defects across healthcare IT systems • Reconcile defect information across multiple tools and teams to ensure accuracy • Identify mismatches or gaps in defect classification, source, and ownership Cross-Team Coordination • Partner with our QA teams, Client QA, Product, Configuration, and Engineering teams • Facilitate communication to ensure defects are routed to the correct workflows (e.g., Source vs HRP defects) • Maintain a clear understanding of workflow differences and enforce process alignment Tracking & Reporting • Maintain real-time visibility into defect aging, priority, and remediation status • Develop and distribute defect reports to leadership and stakeholders • Flag blockers, patterns, and systemic issues that require escalation Process Governance • Ensure adherence to established defect processes and support improvements as the program matures • Assist in defining and documenting defect workflows, standards, and data quality checks Required Skills & Experience • Experience in defect coordination, QA support, or software delivery oversight • Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) • Experience working across multiple teams with different workflows or systems • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with technical and non-technical teams • High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of defect/issue data • Strong organizational skills with a disciplined follow-through approach Preferred Experience • Background in healthcare payer or claims systems • Exposure to HealthEdge, Source, HRP, or similar platforms • Experience supporting integration programs or large-scale system modernization efforts
