Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a IPT Lead Engineer to support a U.S. Army program for Reagan Test Site, headquartered in Huntsville AL. This position requires a talented and experienced IPT Engineer to lead and execute government projects throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, including studies, failure analysis/feasibility, planning/requirements, design, system development, testing, deployment, maintenance, evaluation and risk management. The IPT Lead Engineer will work closely with Reagan Test Site (RTS) I&M (Improvements and Modernization) team to ensure projects are planned, integrated and tested to the project requirements and ready for demonstration and/or operations. Responsibilities • Study, Design, Develop, integrate, track, and manage technical projects funded by RTS. • Manage internal collaboration, review, and integration of project development with all stakeholders. • Review plans, conduct studies, lead failure analysis, and provide recommendations as necessary to ensure execution of the project with the agreed requirements. • Develop and implement government project plans to contribute to cost, schedule, and performance management. • Facilitates all project team meetings - design, test, industry partners, procurement, quality, safety, and others as deemed necessary. • Track, update, and provide change recommendations. • Provide Engineering expertise and guidance to the multidisciplined project team for I&M activities under Regan Test Site. • Identify, manage, and communicate program and project risks. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills • Doctorate in engineering or similar technical field (mechanical, electrical, RF or systems engineering preferred). • Proven ability to lead a small team to perform Improvement and Modernization activities. • Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing through previous experience in product test plans, final reports, process instructions, or other equivalent activities. • Experience supporting systems engineering technical reviews to include Design Concept Review (DCR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Final Design Review (FDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), and Production Readiness Review (PRR). • Experience with hardware, software, and documentation configuration management. • Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills. • U.S. citizenship with a current TS/SCI clearance Required Experience • Minimum 12 years' experience leading mid/large-scale engineering and Prototyping. • Deep experience in RF Systems including High Power Radars. • Experience and interest in problem solving, improving processes, and developing production sequencing. • Experience with projects using Agile methodologies, Digital Engineering (DE), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). • Experience performing detailed design activities, including iterative systems engineering; Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis (MS&A); mission thread development and analysis; Software-in-the-Loop (SWIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulations; trade studies; hardware/software design; and prototyping, necessary for the SDLC process. • Experience with Government requirements for executing Government funded projects. • Experience with structural and mechanical engineering. • Experience with 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Rhino.
