Manage sourcing and vendor relationships for soft home categories across North America, lead vendor onboarding and quality reviews, drive operational improvements, and launch new mattress program.
8+ years sourcing experience in soft home products with strong vendor management, commercial acumen, domestic factory experience, and ability to travel frequently.
Job Description: • Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships (both first-party vendors and third-party vendors) for U.S., Canada, and Mexico-based soft home categories, including: Rugs, Utility Bedding, and Mattresses. • Lead vendor onboarding, quality reviews, and commercial negotiations to improve PCOGS and margins • Drive operational rigor across the domestic supply base: improve lead times, on-time delivery, and production SLAs • Launch a mattress program from scratch in collaboration with Merchandising and Planning • Identify and onboard new vendor partners with scalable capacity, consistent quality, and competitive cost structure • Visit vendor partners regularly to build long-term relationships, troubleshoot issues, and conduct quality reviews • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure product launches and replenishment run smoothly • Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance standards are upheld across all partners Requirements: • 8+ years of sourcing experience, with a strong track record in soft home (utility bedding, rugs, mattresses) • Deep commercial acumen with proven ability to manage vendor performance and reduce cost of goods • Experience working directly with domestic factories and supplier networks in North America • Self-directed and resourceful; thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Based in the U.S. with ability to travel 2–3 times/month for vendor meetings and factory visits • Bonus: experience launching a mattress or bedding program at a DTC or omni-channel brand Benefits:
