We are now looking for an experienced RF power amplifier (PA) design engineer to play a key technical role in the development of our emerging portfolio of single-chip Wi-Fi 7 front-ends in CMOS SOI technology with industry leading power efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for the feasibility study, design, simulation, and layout of power amplifiers in our front-ends using state-of-the-art simulations tools. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree and 8+ years of related work experience Strong analogue circuit design skills, and experience performing analysis and simulation of both linear and non-linear circuits for power amplifiers and other related RF circuit blocks Knowledge about CMOS and/or Bipolar Silicon technologies Wireless communications knowledge: OFDM/OFDMA, 802.11, 4G and 5G Strong teamwork and communication skills Proficiency in Cadence schematic capture, layout and simulation tools Experience in EM simulations using tools as EMX, RFPro/Momentum and/or HFSS Proven track record in the design of power amplifiers for cellular or Wi-Fi applications Desirable Skills and Experience 12+ years of experience with Ph D degree is preferred Experience with various PA linearization techniques including digital pre-distortion Understanding and knowledge of concepts such as envelope tracking, tunable front-end components, and impedance tuning Lab experience to perform IC characterization and debugging Knowledge of data analysis and proficiency software tools such as MATLAB and Python What is offered Working with innovative technolog Dynamic, fun and cool startup working environment A world class RFIC team, with tremendous potential for creativity and ownership Opportunity to be a key contributor, with equity at an early company stage Exceptional benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, bonus plan and more
