Position Title: Data Scientist Location: Vance, AL Position Status: Contract Summary: This position is responsible for leading digitalization and process transformation initiatives within Finance & Controlling, including coordination with other North America entities and shared service centers. Responsibilities: • Lead digitalization, transformation, and accounting-related initiatives to support the achievement of Finances target operating model. • Develop, drive, and support Finance digital transformation projects, including technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and custom applications. • Design and implement fit-for-purpose digital solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across Finance functions. • Analyze and improve existing internal business processes, ensuring scalable implementation across all supported affiliates. • Maintain and enhance current digitalization initiatives to ensure continued value delivery to the Finance and Accounting teams. • Responsible to support financial activities including month-end closing, analysis, reconciliation, reporting of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, including maintaining audit quality documentation. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Qualifications: • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Accounting, Information Technology, or Finance • Co-Op/ internship and/ or up to 2 years' professional experience in the following area(s): Finance and/or Accounting area, data science, data analyst • Knowledge of RPA and/or Blue Prism, PowerBI, Power Automate (cloud and Desktop), Power Apps, Microsoft Office 365 products. • SAP Experience and Project Management preferred.
