Qualification Overview Applicant should possess an associate degree with one-year experience or have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an equivalent role. Person must have police and DHS clearance. Additional requirements include: a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of individual families, the ability to engage and maintain clinical relationships with families, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other providers, effective interpersonal communication skills, the ability to assess and intervene within complex family and community systems, and a willingness to be flexible, patient and creative. The applicant should be knowledgeable of clerical systems and the implementation of general office procedures as well as have an ability to provide instruction to staff on specific office operations. Additionally, the applicant should be able to demonstrate competencies with Microsoft office products and relevant technologies. Electronic health record experience is desired. Position Summary The Member Support Team is responsible for daily front office operations including performing a wide range of duties both administratively and in support of clinical staff. The Member Support Staff is responsible for engaging and assisting our teams and our members in pursuit of our mission to ensure quality services are delivered to improve the health and wellness of our members. Specific Responsibilities • Provide exemplary customer service • Maintain professional demeanor • Check members in as directed and update any relevant demographic information including but not limited to address, phone number and insurance • Aid members in setting up their health care portal, CEHR, as needed • Maintain a professional atmosphere • Complete supply orders for office • Maintain compliance with filing of clinical information by uploading into PERKS or designated EMR • Answer phones and email timely complete any scheduling changes as requested by members • Ensure members are seen for medically necessary services by maintaining schedules for PsyGenics Clinical staff within the EMR including but not limited to the case management team, nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, and occupational and speech therapy services • Check members out of the clinic after services have been provided and ensure that they have the required ongoing appointments for assessment, treatment planning and services set up • Aid members in rescheduling medically necessary appointments when members call to cancel appointments • Maintain transportation scheduling and address all related needs • Complete word processing tasks when directed • Review daily appointment queue in the and follow up with any members who have cancelled upcoming appointments for immediate reschedule for all services including but not limited to case management • Ensure all mandated and necessary brochures and literature are well always stocked in the waiting areas/lobbies and provided to members as needed • Provide and assist in safety protocols and drills • Maintain the reception and waiting areas • Must be flexible and possess an ability to quickly adapt to changing policies, procedures and daily tasks • Possess an ability to identify potential problems/barriers to operations and provide solutions • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Demonstrate excellent organizational and planning skills • Follow PsyGenics, Inc. professional code of conduct • Represent PsyGenics, Inc. in the community • Perform other duties as assigned BCBS/BCN benefits available after 60 days.
