Position Overview: The Sales Development Analyst serves as a technical advisor and strategic partner to Sales and Marketing, driving digital transformation and data-driven growth. This role focuses on leveraging technology, analytics, and process optimization to identify and develop opportunities that enhance sales effectiveness, improve data integrity, and streamline operations. The position also acts as a key liaison between Sales/Marketing and IT/Operations, ensuring alignment of business goals with technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Sales Development and Digital Strategy Partner with internal and external sales teams to create and execute a digital strategy that enhances sales productivity and marketing effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve technology utilization and data-driven decision-making. Serve as a liaison between Sales/Marketing and IT/Operations to ensure technology solutions align with business needs. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Support the use of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud for the Sales and Marketing department. Manage CRM configuration, data integrations, and system feeds. Develop and maintain CRM-based sales reporting and analytics. Facilitate lead generation processes and documentation. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), develop training materials, and deliver training sessions for end users. Data Reporting and Analytics Create and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecast models. Perform trend and data integrity analyses to ensure accurate and actionable insights. Develop and manage Salesforce reports and visual analytics tools to support sales performance tracking. Operational and Technical Support Support automated order entry and DTCC processes through data and workflow analysis. Conduct website and SharePoint analysis and support related development initiatives. Gather and analyze internal and external customer feedback to drive system and process improvements. Assist in prioritizing application enhancements, workflow improvements, and production support items. Participate in cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide UAT and training support. Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in CRM administration, sales analytics, or sales enablement preferred. Experience working in financial services, insurance, or a similar regulated industry a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot). Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong understanding of data architecture, feeds, and integration processes. Experience with SharePoint development and workflow tools. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
