PRINCIPLE CHOICE SOLUTIONS Cloud Infrastructure Administrator • This position is only open to applicants currently residing in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia POSITION PURPOSE The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role ensures robust, secure, and scalable environments that support business objectives and compliance requirements. This position will collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud resources, and maintain high standards of security and reliability. ORGANIZATION This position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager Essential Functions • Administer Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM); implement least‑privilege and time‑bound access for Azure roles • Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep; code, integrate, provision and manage infrastructure, and deploy Azure resources while leveraging Microsoft best practices • Manage and maintain Azure resources including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and identity services. • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and cloud migrations. • Implement security best practices and participate in audits and risk assessments as per IT Security requirements. • Provide technical guidance and support to internal help desk teams regarding Microsoft 365 services and cloud governance • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs. • Ensure infrastructure compliance with Security standards such as NIST 800.171, 800.53, HIPAA, HiTrust and/or PCI DSS standards. • Own backup and disaster recovery for in‑scope assets (Azure Backup/Azure Service Recovery); lead scheduled tests, document results, and share with leadership • On Call duties and other responsibilities as assigned Knowledge & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure may substitute in lieu of degree • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and cloud governance. • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI). • Experience integrating infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps). • 2+ years Cloud Infrastructure work with one or more of the following security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST 800.171, NIST 800.53, HIPAA, HiTrust, PCI DSS). • Microsoft Associate or greater certification required in one of the following domains: Azure Administrator; Azure Developer; Azure Virtual Desktop; M365 Administrator • Must be a U.S. citizen; work sponsorship is not available MACHINES & EQUIPMENT The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as a copier. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone. WORKING CONDITIONS The incumbent works in a remote environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required. Periodic times working at the office site may be required. Security and privacy training will be provided as part of this role to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PCS’ associate and customer data.
