Prime Finance has reached an inflection point in its growth trajectory which presents an immediate opportunity to accelerate that growth through further expansion of existing and new credit strategies as well as extensive investment in internal processes, systems, and resources. Job Summary The Intern will focus primarily on monitoring and reporting asset-level and fund-level performance, including tracking asset level financial performance, loan covenants, construction progress, administering funding requests, identifying potential issues, and assisting senior members of the team with existing asset business plan development and implementation. Essential Functions • Modeling cash flows and mortgage structures to report asset performance to the firm’s Asset Management team • Proactively track covenants and critical milestones to ensure compliance with agreements. • Compilation and preparation of monthly asset status reports • Monitor property performance and progress towards achieving business plan objectives through review of asset-level financial reports and budgets, processing capital disbursement requests, and research of competitive properties • Support Asset Management in financial modeling and due diligence for loan workouts, restructuring, and REO • Work with capital markets, legal and originations to assist all facets of the business Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in related field in progress; ideally with a graduation date of Spring/Summer 2027 • 0-2 years of relevant experience or coursework, including real estate loan structuring, underwriting, and/or securitization • Development and/or real estate cash flow modeling experience • Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Argus) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A true self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision • Strong interest in the real estate private equity industry The expected hourly pay for this role is $25/hour. Actual compensation will be determined by several components, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills and qualifications, base salary of internal peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and a variety of financial, wellbeing, and health / welfare benefits.
