Preppy Pet Fort Myers a premier pet boarding and doggy daycare. We are not one size fits all, we customize the pets stay to fit all needs. We are seeking a part time Kennel Technician and Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Looking for someone who is reliable, dedicated, and loves animals. This is a part time position 15 to 30 hours a week. $14.00 to 15.00 an hour based on experience. Must be able to start immediately. Must be able to work holidays: Christmas eve, Christmas day, new years day! Responsibilities: • Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals • Picking up/cleaning poop/pee outside and inside • Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and play areas • Engage and monitor play activities and exercise with the animals • Loving on the animals • Answering phones, emails, customers about the service. • Checking in/out pets. Qualifications: • Previous experience in animal care or other related fields • Passion to care for animals • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Own/reliable transportation Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Life insurance • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Must be able to work Christmas eve and or Christmas day, and new year's day.
