Director of Advanced Manufacturing Operations (Cold Forming Systems) Step into a direct-hire leadership role where each morning starts on the production floor—checking cell readiness, reviewing overnight ERP data, and aligning cross-functional teams around the day’s priorities. By afternoon, you’re chairing a build review for a turnkey cold-forming line, confirming make/buy choices, validating machine acceptance criteria, and preparing for customer handoff. This is the rhythm of leading a U.S.-based facility for an international innovator in turnkey solutions for cold forming of metal wire, tube, and flat stock—seamlessly integrating cutting, notching, punching, welding, and automation. What you’ll lead • End-to-end plant operations across Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Maintenance, Inventory/Logistics, Quality, Safety, Finance, and HR • IT systems and infrastructure that keep operations connected and efficient • Vendor, customer, and global corporate relationships that fuel performance How you’ll drive impact • Operational excellence: Increase efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across departments • Customer commitments: Protect on-time delivery and quality to sustain high satisfaction levels • Program leadership: Direct tooling and equipment build projects—develop timelines, plan shift schedules, and publish weekly status updates • Project execution: Oversee supply chain planning, make/buy decisions, final machine acceptance, and customer handoff • KPI ownership: Monitor EBITDA, gross margin, labor allocation, and inventory; run weekly KPI cadences and deliver detailed monthly performance reports to corporate • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations • Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Parts & Service, and IT to remove roadblocks and accelerate outcomes • Financial stewardship: Align operations with corporate cost control and cash flow directives Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field • 5–10 years in manufacturing or machine shop operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role • Strong hands-on background in CNC machining, including machine operation • Proven track record meeting plant performance targets • Proficiency with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles • Robust knowledge of supply chain, production planning, quality assurance, and safety protocols • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume environment • French language skills a plus Core proficiencies • CNC Programming • Lean Manufacturing Principles Ready to lead a high-impact operation with global reach?
