Overview Data Scientist Hybrid | Washington D.C. | 3 Days a Week Onsite Active TS/SCI Clearance Required Summary Our client is an employee and Service-Disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business focused on providing niche technical services. They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements. Responsibilities Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team! The Data Scientist supports mission operations by providing analytic technical support, translating requirements, developing models, creating visualizations, communicating insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams Establish analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes. Design and deliver infographics across media platforms. Identify and process raw data, trends, and assessments to generate intelligence support packages. Provide tailored communications to stakeholders and support analytic activities. Brief customers on assessments and prepare briefings for decision makers. Requirements 4-6+ years of experience in computer science, data science, or data analytics. Experience with Python libraries for data cleaning, EDA, statistical analysis, and visualization. Proficiency in Python programming. Agile development experience with tools like Jira. Preferred Requirements Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and the intel cycle. Experience with the Department of Homeland Security. Willingness to learn and adapt. Education/Certification Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience) Clearance Requirements Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required.
