Role Description The Sales Operations Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying and driving global Business Development strategies to achieve ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This leadership position is accountable for steering cross-functional collaboration across regions and business units, ensuring seamless information flow and alignment between internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, external partners. The role demands a strategic mindset and exceptional attention to detail to enhance client engagement and maintain the integrity of data shared across Precision for Medicine. The role will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of business development processes, ensuring they support organizational scalability and efficiency. • Lead and inspire a diverse, global team across multiple regions, fostering collaboration and cultural awareness • Drive strategic initiatives that support global scalability and operational efficiency • Provide direct line management for team members, including performance reviews, coaching, and career development planning • Provide on-the-ground support for the BD team inclusive of tasks such as RFI completion, CDA coordination etc, BDM logistic completion • Manage the tracking and management of all Clinical Solutions and Translational Sciences activity in Salesforce; manage the maintenance of all Accounts, Opportunity, Contact and Lead records in these systems for Clinical Solutions and Translational Sciences Opportunities • Oversee all Clinical and Translational pipeline review calls, opportunity triage calls, business review calls, and adhoc calls from attendance through meeting minute provision and any associated follow up tasks. • Oversee process optimization, reporting, and compliance across all business development operations. • Partner with the Business Development team on meeting/event planning and management of travel to trade shows and other events as appropriate • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Qualifications • Minimum 10+ years’ experience supporting sales teams in an operations or enablement capacity. • Proven track record of leading global teams, including remote and cross-cultural management. • Strong leadership skills with experience in line management, mentoring, and team development. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred). Requirements • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information on calls and via email • Drive and determination to succeed as well as meet and exceed targets and quotas • Must be adaptable, professional and motivated and fully understand the sales cycle • Ability to listen and identify pain points and customer challenges • Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and attend to administrative details in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain effective internal and external relationships • High level of proficiency in the SalesForce application and associated reporting functionality Benefits • This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
