ABA Billing & CentralReach Specialist – Independent Contractor (Revenue Share, Part-Time Potential)- FULLY REMOTE We are looking for an experienced ABA billing specialist with strong CentralReach skills to help us clean up our billing. Please note: We are not seeking a billing company or large vendor. This opportunity is for an individual independent contractor only. Position Overview We need someone who can jump into CentralReach, quickly understand our billing setup, and: • Review outstanding claims and denials • Correct errors and resubmit as corrected/replacement claims This is a contract role paid as a percentage of revenue collected, with the potential to grow into an ongoing billing position for the right person. Key Responsibilities • Log into CentralReach to review aging claims and denials • Analyze denial reasons (CARC/RARC codes, payer messages, etc.) • Correct claim information (codes, units, modifiers, authorizations, etc.) as appropriate • Submit corrected/replacement claims through CentralReach and payer portals • Monitor resubmissions, track collections, and follow up as needed • Communicate clearly status and recovered revenue Required Qualifications • 2+ years of ABA billing experience, including denial management and resubmissions • Hands-on CentralReach billing experience (required) • Strong understanding of ABA billing (CPT codes, modifiers, units, authorizations) • Experience working with commercial payers; Medicaid experience is a plus • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize high-impact claims • High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting small ABA practices or multi-program organizations • Familiarity with Virginia-based payers (e.g., Aetna, Optum, etc.) Schedule & Compensation • Independent contractor (1099) • Flexible schedule; estimated initial need ~5–10 hours per week (may vary with backlog) • Compensation is based on a percentage of revenue collected, with a focus on: • Revenue collected from corrected/replacement claims you process, and • Ongoing collections as systems improve • Specific percentage to be determined based on experience and agreed scope of work • Opportunity for the role to develop into an ongoing part-time billing position if it’s a good mutual fit About PosAbilities PosAbilities is a small, growing organization providing ABA and developmental services to children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
