Director of Development Ploughshares San Francisco, California Lead a visionary fundraising strategy to reduce nuclear threats and build a safer, more peaceful world.In partnership with Lindauer, Ploughshares, a global leader in nuclear threat reduction and peacebuilding,seeks a Director of Development to guide its fundraising strategy and expand its impact worldwide.The Director of Development will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the President toadvance fundraising strategy, oversee development operations, and inspire support for Ploughshares'critical work. This leader will bring both strategic insight and a collaborative approach, guiding a teamdedicated to measurable, lasting change. In this role, you will: • Design and implement a comprehensive, long-term fundraising strategy that drives mission success. • Cultivate and steward a portfolio of major donors, foundations, and institutional partners. • Lead and mentor a dynamic team of 3 development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. • Partner with executive leadership and the Board to strengthen philanthropic relationships and identify new funding opportunities. • Collaborate with communications staff to ensure messaging inspires engagement and donor loyalty.
