The Opportunity As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in originating new opportunities and facilitating the sales process for Petra’s fund administration services. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will work closely with leadership and client service teams to support the firm’s growth strategy. This role requires deep credibility in private markets, operational fluency, and a results-driven approach to relationship development. What You’ll Do Originate and qualify new business opportunities with private equity and private debt managers Build and manage relationships with CFOs, COOs, and other senior stakeholders Lead prospective client meetings and coordinate proposals and follow-ups throughout the sales cycle Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor service offerings, pricing strategies, and onboarding plans Represent Petra at industry events, conferences, and targeted networking engagements Support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to strategic business development planning Who You Are 5+ years of experience in private equity, private debt, fund administration, investment banking, or financial services Demonstrated ability to drive sales or business development outcomes Deep understanding of private fund structures, operations, or fund finance (e.g., subscription lines, NAV facilities) Professional credibility with private fund CFOs and stakeholders; existing relationships are a plus Excellent communicator with strong executive presence Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Team player with a proactive, results-oriented mindset Salary Range At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
