Job Title: Direct Hire Traveling Water Maintenance Technician Location: Based in Michigan (80% Travel Required) Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Company Overview: Join a growing traveling maintenance company specializing in water systems maintenance and service. We’re looking for a dependable and hands-on individual who enjoys working on the road, solving problems, and performing preventative and routine maintenance across multiple sites. Position Summary: The Traveling Water Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing water systems and related equipment at various client locations. This position requires frequent travel, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while representing the company professionally on-site. Key Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on water systems and equipment • Travel to client sites (approximately 80% travel) to complete scheduled service calls • Inspect, clean, and maintain components to ensure optimal performance • Document maintenance activities and communicate findings with supervisors • Safely handle tools, materials, and equipment used in maintenance work • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while on job sites Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required) • Previous maintenance, plumbing, or mechanical experience preferred • Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed and perform physically active work • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for work • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety • Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in all interactions Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Steady full-time schedule (no weekends) • Paid travel and mileage reimbursement • Opportunities for advancement and skill development Peoplelink, LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of ‘linking’ communities through employment.
