The Valuations Coordinator is responsible for managing the full valuation ordering process, including appraisals and collateral reports, while ensuring timely and compliant valuations. This role requires close coordination with Sales, Underwriting, and Operations to keep loans moving efficiently.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in valuations coordination or a similar role within private lending or mortgage lending. Familiarity with appraisal workflows and strong communication skills are essential.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Valuations Coordinator to support Park Place Finance’s Business Purpose lending platform. This role is responsible for managing the full valuation ordering process—including appraisals, BPOs, and other collateral reports—while coordinating closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Operations to keep loans moving efficiently. The Valuations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant collateral valuations from intake through final delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional teamwork, and has strong vendor management and communication skills within private or non-QM lending. Responsibilities: Order and manage appraisals, BPOs, AVMs, and related valuation products for RTL, Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, and DSCR (non-consumer) loans in accordance with Park Place Finance guidelines and investor requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for valuation vendors, appraisers, and AMC partners, ensuring clear communication, proper assignment, and timely completion. Review valuation requests for accuracy and completeness prior to ordering (property details, access notes, borrower/entity info, product type, turnaround needs). Track appraisal timelines, follow up on due dates, and proactively resolve delays to meet internal SLAs and closing targets. Coordinate closely with Sales and Operations to align borrower expectations, access needs, and valuation timelines. Maintain consistent communication with Underwriting to confirm valuation scope, address questions, and ensure reports meet loan program requirements. Perform initial QC on delivered valuation reports to ensure they are complete, correctly addressed, and properly uploaded into the LOS. Identify discrepancies, missing items, or red flags in reports and escalate to the appropriate internal teams for resolution. Update loan files with accurate valuation status notes, fees, and ordering history while ensuring documentation is properly labeled and archived. Support process improvement by tracking vendor performance, documenting recurring issues, and flagging workflow gaps. Provide exceptional internal service by responding quickly to valuation-related questions and keeping stakeholders informed. 2+ years of experience in valuations coordination, appraisal ordering, or a similar role within private lending, non-QM, or mortgage lending (required). Hands-on familiarity with appraisal/BPO workflows for business-purpose products such as RTL/Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, and DSCR loans. Strong understanding of valuation types, report standards, and typical turnaround expectations. Experience working with AMCs, appraisal panels, or third-party valuation vendors. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven pipelines. Clear, professional communication skills with both internal teams and external partners. Proficiency with loan origination systems and valuation ordering platforms (LendingWise experience a plus). Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable prioritizing competing requests. Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through. WHY JOIN PARK PLACE FINANCE? At Park Place Finance, we invest just as much in our people as we do in our borrowers.
