Job Description: • Oversee the completion of partnership federal and state income tax returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations • Establish and maintain the cash tax forecast model incorporating inputs from expected partnership distributions • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for tax planning initiatives • Serve as the primary liaison with external partnership tax advisors and tax authorities • Provide ad hoc reporting and guidance upon the request of tax equity partners • Establish and maintain robust internal controls over accounting and reporting for income taxes to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks • Oversee and provide guidance related to tax credit registrations and transfers • Stay informed about legislative changes in tax law and assess their impact on the company's tax positions and tax accounting implications • Review partnership and joint venture tax-related general ledger account reconciliations • Review periodic hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV) calculations for tax equity funds • As needed, preparation and review of tax equity fund annual workpapers and tax return filings • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management to achieve company objectives and drive a culture of compliance and excellence • Ad-hoc/special projects as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • CPA certification with previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm strongly preferred • Minimum of 10 years of tax experience • Solid understanding of partnership tax concepts • Renewal energy Investment Tax Credit experience a plus • Tax equity investor experience a plus • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team-based environment • Excellent team player • Available for occasional travel Benefits: • unlimited PTO • medical coverage • dental coverage • vision coverage • paid parental leave • retirement plans
