Overview: Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 Annually Location: Remote (Wisconsin or Northern Illinois) Ozinga is expanding its cementitious materials business and recently broke ground on what will be North America's largest low-carbon cement mill in East Chicago, IN. This facility will produce one million tons annually of slag-based materials to meet growing demand for high-performance, sustainable concrete. About the Role We're looking for a Market Manager to lead sales efforts across Greater Milwaukee and Northern Illinois. In this role, you'll be responsible for account development, technical support, and execution of territory strategy. Success means growing volume, protecting margin, and becoming a trusted partner to customers. You'll report to the VP, Technical Sales and work closely with operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure alignment and service excellence. What You'll Do • Build and execute a territory-level sales plan aligned with growth targets • Develop new accounts and expand relationships with contractors, concrete producers, and civil/highway firms • Serve as the technical and strategic sales resource on cementitious products, including upcoming slag offerings • Evaluate bids, prepare proposals, and manage the full customer lifecycle, from first contact to delivery • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, technical services) to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction • Conduct job site and office visits to maintain field-level visibility and relationship depth • Monitor market activity, gather competitive intelligence, and maintain a strong customer pipeline • Represent Ozinga across industry events and associations What You'll Bring • Proven sales experience in cement, construction materials, or heavy construction industries • Deep knowledge of cementitious materials (e.g., slag, fly ash, pozzolans) and concrete performance • Experience developing new business in defined territories • Strong communication, territory planning, and account management skills • Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders through cross-functional collaboration • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the territory Benefits Information At Ozinga, we care about the well-being of our coworkers both in and out of the workplace.
