Purpose of the Position: Receives, ships, stores, and distributes materials throughout the facility. Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate Forklift to move material around facility, in and out of trailers Accurately use a hand-held scanner to check material in and out of inventory tracking system Unload and load trailers, checking material in, matching purchase orders to sale orders and verifying information accuracy Confirm shipment accuracy of all orders, including transfers for outbound deliveries Stage loads for shipments and put stock away, consolidate bins or pallets as necessary Assist with cycle counting and inventory tracking Complete all necessary paperwork Read and comprehend instructions and following established procedures Keep workstation clean and organized Cross train in other areas as needed Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications Basic math skills Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated Ability to count and use scales Ability to understand spoken and written English Previous Forklift experience Ability to work overtime and needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently Working Conditions Temperature controlled facility Personal Protective Equipment Required Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plus as necessary Direct Reports No direct reports We offer a competitive benefits package starting after just 30 days of employment!
