Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Commissioned Sales Representative at Orkney Springs Distillery, where your enthusiasm for sales and exceptional customer service will drive our brand’s growth across multiple locations. In this energetic role, you will engage with customers, share our passion for quality spirits, and build lasting relationships that foster brand loyalty. Your proactive approach and sales expertise will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests while contributing to the success of our distillery operations. This position offers a flexible schedule, perfect for motivated individuals eager to make an impact in a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Cold call bars, restaurants and liquor stores in DC and/or Maryland. • Set tasting appointments to sample our spirit products, answer questions and take orders • Drive sales by demonstrating product knowledge and highlighting unique features of our spirits. • Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer interaction and repeat business. • Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring smooth and timely delivery. • Collect customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve service quality. • Support promotional events and tastings to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Qualifications • Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, with a passion for engaging with people. • Strong communication skills, able to clearly convey product information and benefits. • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to reaching sales goals. • Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends and evenings as needed. • Knowledge of spirits or beverage industry is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. • Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain any necessary licensing or permits required by local regulations.
