VENDORS – DO NOT CONTACT US IN ANY WAY TO PITCH YOUR SERVICES OR YOUR BENCH Overview This role serves as a Solutions Architect supporting several large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives within a multi-year transformation program. The position spans multiple SAFe Agile Release Trains and focuses on integrating and modernizing systems that support member and provider contact centers, digital experience, conversational AI, and service operations workflows. Core programs include an enterprise contact-center platform expansion, a member experience enhancement train, virtual assistant and live chat modernization using conversational AI, and the implementation of a new workflow platform for service operations. The architect will define technical direction, guide solution design, ensure scalable integration, and align with broader architecture domains across cloud, APIs, and distributed systems. Type: Contract, W2 only, cannot sponsor now or ever, remote Schedule: Regular day hours M-F, Eastern Time schedule Duration: 1+ year Pay: $65 - $75/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible Solutions Architect Preferred Experience: • Architectural experience with cloud-native platforms, especially AWS and GCP • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including normalization, denormalization, sharding, and data-centric patterns • Background in GenAI and Conversational AI (e.g., RAG frameworks, vector search, embeddings, IBM WatsonX, Google Dialogflow) • Experience designing high-quality, developer-friendly REST APIs • Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, distributed caching, and event-driven architectures • Experience with workflow and case-management tools such as ServiceNow or Salesforce • Familiarity with SAFe software development principles Primary Technologies: • API-first enterprise architecture • Multi-cloud (GCP for big data, AWS for digital experience/compute, Azure for compute) • Salesforce Service Cloud (contact-center experience layer) • ServiceNow (workflow orchestration) Solutions Architect Requirements • Extensive experience in systems integration across complex, enterprise environments • Strong background in architecting and developing large-scale systems using disciplined, rigorous design approaches • Skilled in requirements analysis, estimation, systems design, application design, and testing processes • Proficiency with modern programming languages and frameworks including Java, JavaScript, Node.js, messaging and queuing architectures, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure • Experience with distributed computing, concurrency control, parallelism, and race-condition mitigation • Strong collaboration, influence, and consensus-building skills across product, program, engineering, and stakeholder groups • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present architecture solutions to diverse audiences • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently • Proven track record delivering high-quality software solutions using Agile methodologies and working on Agile teams • Experience with SAFe development environments and multi-train program delivery • Familiarity with design patterns and architecture best practices • Experience facilitating stakeholder and partner meetings Solutions Architect Duties • Receive epic and feature assignments, partnering with train architects to establish solution direction • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical leads to clarify requirements and refine solution design • Coordinate with domain architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture patterns and cross-domain impacts • Work closely with integration architects to produce solution artifacts including sketches, diagrams, and presentations • Maintain and expand business and systems subject-matter expertise across assigned programs • Apply established architecture patterns or define new patterns when addressing emerging needs • Present solution designs to stakeholders, including architecture teams, infrastructure SMEs, and business partners, for review and approval • Guide design decisions across program initiatives spanning contact-center modernization, digital experience, conversational AI, and workflow transformation • Support the technical execution of SAFe Agile Release Trains by ensuring architectural consistency, clarity, and scalability across features and integrations No deadline to apply.
