JOB SUMMARY: As a Field Service Technician, you'll be at the heart of what we do: diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar machines in the field. Whether it's a dozer, excavator, wheel loader, haul truck, you'll use your skills and experience to deliver top-tier service that keeps our customers moving. You will work in the field from a service truck servicing and performing: • Diagnostics and repair on heavy equipment, including Caterpillar engines and drive-train components, electrical and hydraulic systems. • Perform routine and complex repairs, inspect and maintain equipment, and rebuild components to ensure optimal performance. • Additional duties include servicing Air Conditioning systems, maintaining detailed service records, collaborating with fellow technicians on complex repairs, and adhering to all safety protocols. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs, as well as standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
