Part-Time Cashier Job Description We are seeking a dependable, outgoing, and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, welcoming attitude toward every guest. This position requires consistency, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll be expected to provide excellent customer service while ensuring the front of house and outdoor areas remain spotless and well-organized throughout your shift. Responsibilities: • Greet every customer warmly and deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service. • Process transactions using the POS system (Clover experience preferred). • Assisting cooks with basic food preparation when needed and calling out completed orders promptly • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times. • Perform daily cleaning duties, including: • Cleaning restroom • Sweeping and mopping floors • Wash floor mats at end of every shift • Cleaning windows and entry areas • Maintaining a clean front-of-house and outdoor dining area • Keep outdoor tables clean, organized, and stocked with napkins and condiments. • Replenish sauces, condiments, and other items needed by the kitchen team. • Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions responsibly and efficiently. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. • Uphold company standards for professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork. • Follow all health and safety rules Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of cashier or customer service experience. • Experience operating POS systems (Clover preferred). • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for customer service. • Ability to complete cleaning and restocking duties with consistency and care. • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. • Must have a valid work permit • Must have a current Food Handler Card Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount Work Location: In person
