Full Description

We are seeking a Mgr., Global Sales Compensation to support and enhance Numerator's variable compensation programs for our Commercial organization. This role will maintain and evolve existing U.S. commission plans to ensure they continue to motivate and reward desired behaviors as our business priorities grow and change. In addition, this person will play a key role in supporting the design and rollout of global variable compensation structures, ultimately managing and administering these plans once implemented. This role also manages and develops an offshore Commission Analyst based in India, with a key objective of shifting all, transactional, and reporting tasks to that offshore resource over time. This allows the Mgr., Global Sales Compensation to focus on higher-value activities such as plan design, strategic analysis, stakeholder consultation, and process improvement. The Compensation Manager serves as a dedicated partner to Commercial leadership, working closely with Finance and HR to ensure alignment of incentive design, administration, and governance. Plan Management & Evolution • Maintain and administer existing U.S. commercial commission and incentive compensation plans. • Continuously evaluate and enhance plan designs to align with evolving business initiatives and performance priorities. • Partner with Commercial leadership to ensure incentive programs drive desired outcomes and reinforce core behaviors. Global Expansion & Administration • Support the development of variable compensation structures for international commercial teams. • Once implemented, manage and administer these global plans to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with corporate standards. Program Operations • Oversee monthly and quarterly commission calculations and payments through Xactly, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency. • Track and analyze performance against plan metrics, providing insights and reporting to leadership. • Advise on exceptions and complex cases, including overpayments, clawbacks, and other adjustments. Governance & Compliance • Maintain plan documentation, approval records, and audit processes. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and global employment regulations. • Serve as the subject matter expert on sales compensation governance and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and accruals related to variable compensation. • Collaborate with HR and Total Rewards on compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, and policy alignment. • Provide education and consultation to leaders and plan participants to promote understanding and engagement. Skills & Requirements • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with a focus on sales incentive or commission plan administration and design. • Hands-on experience with Xactly (or similar sales compensation management software). • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency. • Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Sales, Finance, and HR teams. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field; CCP or similar certification preferred.
