Financial Reporting Analyst North - Remote Please note working hours will align with the Eastern Time Zone. North is seeking a talented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Reporting team. The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing monthly financial reporting packages including variance to budget reporting, performing operational and/or other ad-hoc financial analyses, managing certain financial processes, providing decision support and assisting in the budget and forecast process. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented, analytical person with a strong aptitude for problem solving. What you'll do: Developing relevant reporting documentation to assist business leaders in financial management Evaluate financial issues and data. Provide analysis and other support to various members of the management team Prepare month end financial reporting, including performing variance analysis and providing commentary for significant variances Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages to be delivered to external third parties Gather supporting documentation for significant variances Support the annual planning process by working closely with teams across the business to gather and consolidate relevant information Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed What we need from you: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum three years of experience in accounting or finance roles with a background in corporate budgeting and consolidations Knowledge of Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning budgeting systems and Workday reporting tools (e.g. OfficeConnect) Strong competencies in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Resourceful and creative problem solver Strong presentation skills Ability to perform with minimum supervision and make decisions independently How to stand out: Experience in Payment or Financial Services industries Strong knowledge in SQL and big data mining Experience in Adaptive Planning modeling, reporting and administrative tasks Salary Range: $46,000-$88,000 Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
