We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in financial risk analysis, refinancing, and ladder management to join our Cloud Commitment Automation team. This person will own the data modeling and analytics required to continuously optimize commitment portfolios across clouds, ensuring maximum savings with controlled risk exposure. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, FinOps SMEs, and GTM teams to develop insights, models, and playbooks that drive automated, data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Build analytical models to forecast cloud spend, usage patterns, and risk exposure across multiple commitment instruments • Evaluate and manage commitment ladders — design optimal maturity structures to balance savings and flexibility • Identify refinancing opportunities (e.g., SP/RI exchanges, Azure re-reservation, GCP commitment reshaping) • Partner with engineering to operationalize forecasting data into automated actions • Create internal dashboards tracking coverage, savings performance, utilization trends, and expirations • Provide actionable insights to CS and Sales for customer engagements and executive reporting • Develop and continuously refine benchmarking methodologies across clouds • Contribute to roadmap decisions for commitment automation capabilities Skills & Experience Required • 3+ years in data analytics, preferably in Cloud FinOps, treasury, or financial risk modeling domains • Hands-on experience with commitment instruments like: AWS RIs & Savings Plans (Compute & Non-Compute), Azure Reservations, GCP Committed Use Discounts (CUD) • Strong quantitative modeling skills (forecasting, correlation, scenario analysis) • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) • Ability to communicate complex insights to executives and non-technical stakeholders
