Juliet, TN. This position provides technical support to parts distribution operations ensuring parts arrive to dealers on schedule and in saleable condition, while minimizing storage, handling and transportation costs. A Day in the Life: Manages all mobile powered equipment and industrial battery budget objectives for Smyrna and Decherd. Develops /maintains lease, purchase, and all repairs / maintenance strategies to minimize cost and maximize efficiency at a site level. Tracks trends of equipment utilization and cost to ensure fleet is right sized, meeting designed demand and cost controlled. Issues purchase orders for repairs and maintenance yearly using cost analysis data. Monitors automated systems and electronic equipment to support material handling part flow at a site level. Tracks trends of all equipment utilization as well as manpower to ensure efficient use of resources. Provides forward planning and participation in new model development, trials, and launch. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. Who We’re Looking for: Required: Education: A four-year degree in Engineering or Industrial/Engineering Technology is preferred. Experience: 6+ years of related experience at a professional level. Job Knowledge and Skill: Understanding of current fleet of mobile equipment and maintenance systems. Computer Skills: Thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations. Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN or Mt. Juliet, TN.
