Our Houston General Office is seeking a motivated and dependable Office Assistant to support our growing leadership team. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and self-motivated professional with the following attributes: • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities • Bilingual **Vietnamese required** • Personable and professional demeanor • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Strong computer proficiency • Excellent work ethic • Ability to multitask and adapt to change • Positive attitude with a team-first mindset • Strong and confident phone presence • Coachable and open to feedback • Ability to handle objections and maintain professionalism Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be a core part of our recruitment and office operations team. Responsibilities include: • Managing recruiting systems and applicant tracking tools for the manager • Sourcing and identifying candidates for a financial sales career with New York Life • Creating, analyzing, and presenting weekly recruiting reports • Administering screening interviews with prospective candidates • Conducting all candidate follow-ups and ensuring strong engagement throughout the hiring process • Building relationships and networking with current Agents • Maintaining recruiting materials and office marketing assets • Organizing and attending career fairs • Coordinating and setting up recruiting events and office functions • Sourcing resumes via job boards and conducting outbound calls • Participating in local chamber events, community organizations, and developing Centers of Influence • Assisting candidates with onboarding, licensing, contracting, and training timelines • Managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to support recruiting efforts • Attending weekly office and team meetings Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance Language: • Vietnamese (Required) Work Location: In person
