Location: Ringwood, IL. Department: Operations. Reports To: Fleet Manager / Operations Leadership. Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Fleet & Operations Lead to oversee daily operations within our NAC shop facility. This role ensures all equipment, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained, staged, and ready to support field crews. The Fleet & Operations Lead maintains a clean, safe, and efficient shop while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. Key Responsibilities • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment. • Oversee staging of tools, equipment, and materials. • Ensure all equipment is properly labeled and color-coded. • Prepare vehicles and equipment for upcoming jobs. • Clean and restock vehicles upon return. • Assist with maintenance tasks and equipment inspections. • Coordinate deliveries, equipment needs, and vendor interactions. • Manage inventory of tools, PPE, and general supplies. • Ensure safety and OSHA compliance within the shop. • Support crews with staging PPE and equipment. • Provide bilingual communication support (preferred). Qualifications • Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred. • Experience in industrial, fleet, or shop environments preferred. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to perform physical work as needed. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
