Nawa is hiring a Lead Float for our custodial team in Grand Rapids! This is a great opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with leadership experience who enjoys hands-on work and can effectively manage a team across multiple locations. Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour Full time position available: · Monday-Friday: mainly second shift hours but must be flexible to work occasional day shifts and occasional weekends. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and assist custodial staff at all sites • Cover shifts and assist with routine cleaning as needed • Deliver and pick up supplies and equipment • Ensure quality standards are met at all job sites • Monitor and support clock-in/out compliance • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams • Provide training and enforce company policies and safety practices • Travel to sites within the greater Grand Rapids area • Communicate regularly with regional manager regarding team progress and client satisfaction • Flexible schedule based on client needs (including weekends if required) Qualifications: • Must be 18+ with valid ID • Strong attendance and leadership skills • Ability to pass background check with no past or pending felonies or misdemeanors, and drug screen (including for THC) • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle to drive during shift • Comfortable with technology and able to use standard office equipment and programs • At least 1 year of custodial experience required • 1 year previous leadership or supervisory experience required • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand/walk for long periods • Strong attention to detail and team management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Able to travel between locations as needed Why Join Nawa? • PTO, holiday pay • Opportunities for advancement / promotion • Merit based pay increases • $300 Referral bonuses for qualified candidates • Gas card for travel between sites • Phone stipend • Paid training • Medical Benefits: full time employees are eligible for health insurance on the first of the month after 60 days worked, when working an average of 30+ hour per week Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Life insurance • Referral program • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
