The Role The Multnomah Athletic Club is seeking a Content Editor that will be responsible for overseeing the planning, creation, and delivery of compelling written content across multiple channels, including digital, print, and in-club communications. This role combines editorial oversight, strategic content planning, and strong writing and editing skills to ensure consistent brand voice and high-quality storytelling that supports Multnomah Athletic Club’s mission, programs, and member engagement. What You Will Do Content Strategy & Management Develop and manage the editorial content calendar for all digital and print communications Collaborate with stakeholders to choose themes, pitch ideas, and shape campaigns Track and manage content deadlines, assignments, and deliverables Lead weekly content meetings and oversee task prioritization for the Communications team Gather, edit, and rewrite content for voice, style, and relevance across all media Edit content for weekly email newsletters, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and engagement Maintain The Winged M magazine mailing list and ensure publication accuracy Writing & Editing Write and edit copy across all channels, including event promotions, marketing campaigns, emails, website, The Winged M magazine stories, blog posts, and educational content Ensure all communications adhere to established brand guidelines and tone of voice Proofread all materials to maintain editorial excellence and brand consistency Collaboration & Leadership Work independently and in collaboration with cross-departmental teams Partner with and provide editorial direction and guidance to partners and peers Support the Creative Manager in executing content strategies and campaigns Contribute to departmental planning and communication alignment across the organization What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field 5+ years of experience in content management, copywriting, or editorial work Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills Excellent organizational and project management abilities Proficiency in Asana and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills What You'll Gain At Multnomah Athletic Club, we believe in taking care of our team members.
