Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with retail and customer service expertise to join our team at The UPS Store & Pharmacy. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE Duties • Assist customers with pharmacy transactions, including medication pickups and questions • Operate POS systems efficiently for sales and payments • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with policies • Conduct product demos and upsell related items to enhance customer experience • Manage merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store displays • Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering processes • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly • Support pharmacy tasks such as medication labeling, inventory management, and basic math calculations for prescriptions • Maintain professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone • Assist in training new staff members and supervising team activities as needed Experience • Prior experience as a pharmacy technician is required; familiarity with pharmacy software is preferred • Supervising experience in retail or pharmacy settings is highly desirable • Proven ability to perform retail sales, upselling, and product demonstrations effectively • Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele • Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and medication calculations are necessary • Experience with grocery store or retail environments will be considered a plus • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
