Overview Position Summary The Post-Sale Deed Conveyance Specialist is responsible for managing all activities related to preparing, auditing, and submitting conveyance deeds and final title packages for HUD and/or VA conveyances. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with investor/insurer guidelines, and timely submission of all required documentation. The Specialist will work closely with the Recording Team, internal departments, vendors, and agencies to facilitate successful recordation and conveyance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare accurate and compliant conveyance deeds for properties conveying into HUD or the VA. Audit deeds to ensure all legal descriptions, vesting information, signatures, notary blocks, and supporting documents meet investor, insurer, and jurisdictional requirements Identify and resolve discrepancies or deficiencies in deed data, title information, or supporting materials before submission. Collaborate with the Recording Team to ensure conveyance deeds and related documents are submitted for recordation promptly. Review recording feedback and cure any rejections or issues, including obtaining corrected documents or additional information where necessary. Track the status of recorded deeds and maintain accurate timelines and documentation. Compile, review, and submit complete and compliant final title packages to HUD or the VA within required deadlines. Obtain necessary supporting documents (e.g., title evidence, invoices, affidavits, tax or HOA confirmation, foreclosure documents, etc.) directly from internal teams, attorneys, title vendors, or municipalities. Validate that all required forms, certifications, and supporting documents meet HUD/VA specifications. All other duties assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in REO, real estate contracts and REO-specific requirements preferred. Familiarity with investor and insurer guidelines (HUD, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently, and as part of a Team.
