Summary The Compliance Product Manager is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing technical solutions that support regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial crime prevention. This role collaborates closely with compliance and risk teams to implement systems for AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of compliance infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Provide legal and regulatory advice to product, business, and operations teams on the design, enhancement,and launch of exchange products and features. • Interpret and apply evolving U.S. federal and state regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, BSA/AML, statemoney transmitter laws, consumer protection) to the company’s offerings. • Support internal review of new product proposals and ensure alignment with licensing, registration, andcross-border regulatory obligations. • Draft and review internal memos, risk assessments, and regulatory impact analyses related to new productsor business models. • Work closely with external counsel and regulators, where appropriate, to clarify legal positions or supportregulatory filings. • Monitor upcoming U.S. legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing andplanned products. • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to design and implement controls ensuring product complianceacross jurisdictions. • Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build product regulatory awareness across internalteams. • Assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and reporting requirements relevant to productoperations. Qualifications & Experience • Degree in Law from an accredited law school; admission to practice in one or more U.S. jurisdictionspreferred. • 4–7 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or digital asset regulation, ideally in-house or with a top-tier law firm. • Strong working knowledge of U.S. financial regulations (SEC, CFTC, FinCEN/BSA, state money transmitter laws, consumer protection) and their application to crypto or payment products. • Demonstrated experience advising on product structuring, market entry, or licensing within a regulated environment. • Ability to balance legal precision with commercial pragmatism in a fast-paced business setting. • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
