The role involves providing strategic and operational leadership, delivering client advisory services, and overseeing all aspects of account lifecycle management—from pre-renewal through stewardship. The position also includes collaboration with producers on new business opportunities and delivering professional client presentations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage an established book of Property & Casualty (P&C) clients. • Educate clients on policy coverage, exclusions, and updates. • Collaborate with producers and client managers to complete renewals 90–120 days before expiration • Manage the full marketing and renewal process including strategy, submissions, negotiations, and presentation development. • Deliver oral and written presentations to clients and prospects. • Identify additional coverage opportunities and deliver tailored risk management solutions. • Maintain accurate documentation of all client communications in the agency management system. • Supervise client managers supporting shared accounts. • Ensure compliance with agency procedures, E&O guidelines, and operational standards. • Participate in internal initiatives, special projects, and client stewardship reviews. Must-Have Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). • Active State of Ohio Property & Casualty License. • Minimum 5 years of Property and Casualty insurance experience. • Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM. • Experience using the Applied EPIC agency management system. • Proven track record in risk consulting and client retention.
