Full Description

This is a full-time position on the creative team for Modern Expo, Events, and Exhibits. We are a full-service events company that specializes in corporate events, expos/tradeshows, and custom exhibit design QUALIFICATIONS: Associates or Bachelors degree in design or related field, and/or relative experience in graphic design, interior design, or event design. Must have applied understanding of the principles and elements of design, typography, positive/negative space, visual hierarchy, and layout design. Must be able to accept and apply feedback and constructive criticism from client and co-workers. Must be able to work collaboratively with other designers. Portfolio must be submitted to be considered for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design graphics for events according to preferences of clients. Work under the Creative Director to assist with in-house marketing needs such as websites, publications, sales tools, and marketing materials. Learn and apply the print production process from beginning to end to produce correctly printed graphics. Collaborate with other designers to produce quality and cohesive work from Modern's brand guidelines. Manage workflow, handling multiple projects at a time to meet deadlines. Lead your design team to ensure all design is done with precision, detail, and cohesion, and that deadlines are met. MUST HAVE: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Experience in AutoCAD NICE TO HAVE: Experience with trade shows and events Experience with custom exhibit design Experience with wide format printed graphics Experience with 3D Software (Blender or other) Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) BENEFITS: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401K with employer matching Major holidays off and 3 weeks PTO Working as part of a fun creative team
