Microbot Medical is a cutting-edge medical device endovascular robotic surgery company, seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Sr. Manager to join our team. We are on a mission to redefine endovascular procedures with the LIBERTY® Endovascular Robotic System, the world’s first single use, remotely operated endovascular robotic system, currently cleared by the FDA, that enables precise vascular navigation while reducing radiation exposure and physical strain. The peripheral endovascular space is one of the largest markets with clear unmet needs, but still with minimal penetration of robotics. LIBERTY is designed to redefine the endovascular surgical robotics marketplace by overcoming many obstacles that hinder the adoption of other robotic systems by eliminating the large capital footprint and its expenses and creating a system that is easy to use with minimal set-up time and has the potential to add value for all stakeholders. About the Role: The Sr. Manager of Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) reports to the Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Business Development and will be part of the team that leads the development of the LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System product portfolio. This individual will work closely with the cross-functional product development team (including R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, Operations) to execute and deliver the Multi-Generational Product Plan (MGPP).The qualified candidate should be an agile teammate who has experience working with R&D teams through a defined stage-gate product development process with a demonstrated track record of introducing new products to the market. This individual must have the capability to interact with R&D colleagues on technical issues and demonstrate strong leadership presence and influence skills. This position is remote with the candidate located in the eastern time zone of the United States. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Execute and deliver new product development projects as part of the company’s MGPP. • Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, trends and opportunities for growth. • Demonstrate strong external focus by active engagement with Scientific Advisory Board members to gain insights into unmet needs and feedback on new product development projects. • Translate market insights into product specifications by collaborating with R&D to define market and product requirements. • Work with internal business partners to develop and strengthen the Market Requirements Document (MRD) and Target Product Profile (TPP) which will guide product development. • Lead the commercial strategy for new product development projects in close collaboration with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality and Operations. • Develop and deliver the global value proposition, market segmentation, positioning, and messaging for all new products. • Collaborate with internal business partners to develop the commercial launch plan, strategy, forecast, messaging and business plan. • Create a culture of patient centricity and best practice sharing. • Other responsibilities may include: travel to and attend relevant industry conferences and trade shows which may take place during weekends and holidays, attend company dinners and events as needed, meet the travel requirements of the position as described, perform other duties as assigned by the Company. Travel Requirements • Travel approximately 25% including international travel. • Have a valid drivers’ license. • Have a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally Qualifications and Skills: • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Postgraduate qualification, PhD, MBA, or other graduate degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred. • A minimum of 5 years of dynamic experience in the medical technology industry is required. • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated in pre-launch & launch activities, in-line marketing, or sales management/training experience implementing marketing strategy is required. • An ability to shape and drive strategy with R&D and cross-functional teams. • An ability to handle multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision-making is required. • Excellent strategic planning and project management abilities. • Ability to translate technical information into commercial strategy. • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, ability to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies and actions. • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-geography. • Proven track record of exceptional team and cross functional leadership. • Strong executive, verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills. • International experience; specifically, previous work experience with different geographies.
