Michigan Staffing is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a call center environment for our client in New Hudson (Wixom area). Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative role is one of a creative, tenacious problem solver. In this role you are the primary source to provide timely and accurate solutions to requests from internal and external customers. This position collaborates with other members of the Customer Support Team ensuring customer expectations are met.       Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Hybrid schedule after training (4-6 weeks). Monday – Wednesday in the office, Thursday – Friday Work from home. Pay: $19.00 /HR, Weekly Pay Position: Full Time, Contract to hire Duties and Responsibilities: • Respond to phone calls and emails from customers promptly with accurate information (via phone and email). This includes inquiries about product troubleshooting, warranty support shipments, order status and returns • Log all documentation in the customer service database • Actively identify problems and opportunities for change and implement solutions • Accurately enter and review customer accounts and shipments and provide customers with any feedback related to product information • Actively seeks information to understand customers circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs • Report and record findings from customers to internal departments such as Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing regarding product issues, information, and installations • Other duties and responsibilities as required Requirements and Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Minimum 3 years of Customer Service/Customer Support experience • Proficient level experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Demonstrates clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions • High level of attention to detail and accuracy • Strong problem solving and detail oriented • Plumbing industry experience is a plus Benefits once hired on after contract: • Employees start with 17 days of paid time off in their first year • Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and 401K • Room for growth and advancement • * Please be sure to submit your updated resume here for consideration** Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $19.00 per hour Benefits: • Work from home Ability to Commute: • New Hudson, MI 48165 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in New Hudson, MI 48165
